What are some must have restaurants in Pittsburgh PA, possible near the incline. I am located in highland park?

My girlfriend is coming to visit me I plan on going to eat Pamela's Pankcake house for a late breakfast around 11, shop around shadyside......would like to go eat supper around 5pm and then the incline so its dark, then ColdStone on Squirrel Hill, I am new to the area. What are some must have restaurants in Pittsburgh PA, possible near the incline. Welcome to Pittsburgh!

I actually own the boutique next door to Pamela's - the one in Squirrel Hill! They have a fantastic breakfast. Great way to start your day. Shopping in Shadyside %26amp; Squirrel Hill are both great - and are only 4 minutes apart. Shop Walnut Street in Shadyside and Forbes Avenue in Squirrel Hill. You'll notice the main difference is that Shadyside is mostly big chain stores, and Squirrel Hill is mostly boutique shopping.

Some places to eat by the incline:

At the top, you have Mt. Washington. My favorite place is called Coal Hill Steakhouse because it's the most affordable and has a wide range on the menu. If you like Seafood, try Monterrey Bay - it's quite expensive. Also, Isabela's on Grandview %26amp; Tin Angel get rave reviews. Nothing at the top of Mt. Washington is considered cheap, but it's all delicious and provides great views.

The bottom of the incline has more reasonably priced and chain style restaurants. You sacrifice romance %26amp; a pretty view for these, but they are a lot of fun. Try Houlihans, Hard Rock Cafe, Bar Louie or Red Star Tavern for a more relaxed environment. Try Melting Pot if you want to cook your own food fondue style (lots of fun!). There is a restaurant that has two sides: The Grand Concourse is the fancier side, and the Gandy Dancer is the more casual side. It's very nice inside, and is right by Station Square Mall, as is all the other restaurants I mentioned.

Have a great time, sounds like a really fun day!

If you want to eat at the bottom of the incline there are many places to eat at Station square.. Look up Station Square and look at all of the restaurants there.. Things like Bucca de Bepo, Joes Crab Shack and many others..
