Things to do in Pittsburgh, PA?

My family and I are taking a short trip for a few days down to Steel City, we leave Wednesday, and I'm really excited to go there (Pens fan hehe). So what are some good restaurants? We like sports restaurants.

Is the zoo a good place to go?

Of course, we're seeing two Pirates games.

Would Mellon Arena possibly be open?

thanks in advance :)Things to do in Pittsburgh, PA?
Hi there,

Yeah the zoo is fine I guess (it's not a San Diego Zoo though haha)

Morning: Go to "Strip District" and walk around, breakfast "Pamela's," then drive downtown, walk around the ramparts of Ft. Pitt and down to Point State Park.

Afternoon: Walk around Station Square, the take incline up to Mt. Washington.

Dining ideas:

Strip District: Primanti Bros sandwiches

Southside on Carson St: Fat Heads (they have large selection of sandwiches and beer)

Squirrell Hill: Aiellos (great pizza)
