What are some fun/cheap things to do in Pittsburgh, PA?

I have two friends visiting (a guy and a girl) and am looking for fun/cheap things to do in Pittsburgh. Ideally I'd like to walk around, go into some fun/interesting shops, eat at a cool restaurant, maybe sit in a coffee shop for a little bit, and go to a cool park. I don't know much about Pittsburgh, or how to get around, but I have a GPS so really all I need to know is names of places. :)

The name of a certain area would be preferred.. like if there's a few certain streets that are fun to walk down, I'd love to know of some.

Also, some fun/unique restaurant names would be great too!

Thanks! What are some fun/cheap things to do in Pittsburgh, PA?

This is the best area for walking around

The Strip District, just east of Pittsburgh's downtown triangle, runs between 11th and 33rd streets along the southern shore of the Allegheny River. The historic market district runs from 16th to 22nd streets. There's plenty of parking if you choose to drive, or you can get to the Strip via Port Authority bus service.

This is also a fun thing to do take a ride on the tram
