Place to go with friends in Pittsburgh, PA?

A few friends and myself (12 people) where planning on going to Cedar Point this wednesday but it is supposed to rain so everyone wants to try and find something else to do since we all called the day off and have some money to spend. I thought of the usual that we could do, go to a movie, eat at a restaurant, and maybe the hookah bar. I was thinking about trying to get us into a night club, but none of us have ever been to one (all 19-21 years old.) And I know none of us would know what to wear or do. Does anyone know of any nice movie theaters that we could go to? A good restaurant that would be good for a group of young adults to hang out at and eat. And a good hookah bar or night club that we could get into? We don't really know a lot of places around Pittsburgh since we usually go and hang out in Boardman, OH. Just looking to go somewhere other than the usual.

There are several sections of Pittsburgh that I think you would have fun visiting.



1. Strip District: visit many unique shops. Go to Pamela's for breakfast. Specialty food store are everywhere. Roalnds Seafood for lunch. Great fish sandwiches.



2. Station Square: Grand Concourse is a great restaurant in an old train station. You should as least walk through it. Then you could ride the incline to the top of Mt Washington. There are some really nice bars and restaurants up there that have a great view of the entire city. There are a lot of shops at Station Square as well as a Hard Rock, Hooters, Buca Di Beppo, and Joe's Crab Shack.



3. Just down the street from Station Square is the Southside. Lost of neighborhood bars and nightclubs. If you want a great steak look for Mantini's Wood Fired.



4. Waterworks is over in homestead. The have a great movie theater, Dave %26amp; Busters and about everything else.



Sandcastle Waterpark may be something you would be interested in as well as Kennywood Park.



They also have riverboats called the Gateway Clipper Fleet that offers a variety of tours and events on their boats.

lol at boardman i worked at the Wendys there :-P ANYWAYS im not sure about anything except where to eat. go to Primanti Bros! its a sandwhich like sit down bar-esque place and its awesome. they have booze too, but it is a genuinly nice and you should check it out! have fun in p-burgh!Place to go with friends in Pittsburgh, PA?

I'm from Pittsburgh and really that is like the only thing really fun to do!

But Southside Works is pretty cool too! A lot of shops and there is a movie theater down there. Southside is probably my favorite place to go. There is a lot of bars and lounges down there so if yins are over 21... could be a possibilty? But check out Southside for sure!
