Does anyone know the ingredients of the salad dressing at ShoGuns? (The Japanese Steakhouse)?

I love it too. I don't think this is the exact recipe, but this recipe is for Japanese ginger salad dressing, just like at Shogun's.

INGREDIENTS:

* 2 tbsps rice wine vinegar

* 3 tbsps vegetable oil

* 1 tbsp sesame oil

* 1 tbsp soy sauce

* 1/2 tsp sugar

* 1 tsp sake

* 1 tsp grated ginger

PREPARATION:

Mix all the ingredients other than oil in a bowl. Add oil gradually into a bowl and mix well.

*Makes 2 servings

A lot of Japanese and Korean restaurants use wasabi in their dressings(especially in Japan ,China and Korea) but I'm sure that Shogun doesn't. It's a ginger dressing if I'm not mistaken.Does anyone know the ingredients of the salad dressing at ShoGuns? (The Japanese Steakhouse)?
If you are looking for the shrimp salad dressing it is really easy to make.

Take a plain mayonaise and stir it till it becomes thin (adding a little water and a pinch of salt helps)

You can go to the Mexican spices isle or to a Mexican store and get ground dried shrimp.

Add a tblsp to half cup of mayonaisse with a pinch of salt, garlic powder, a pinch of powdered ginger, and fresh ground black pepper. Also one tsp of ketchup to give it more of a pink color and voila! Shrimp dressing or Shrimp sauce if you prefer.
