http://www.wpxi.com/index.html Good site - check out the restaurant, entertainment and events tabs.
http://www.visitpittsburgh.com/ has lots of info too.
I wish I were you - just love that City. Atria's is a good bistro type restaurant with live music. Located at PNC Park. Shopping areas and eateries - Station Square, Downtown, South Side Works (McCormick and Schmicks is totally mouthwateringly wonderful).

Be sure to visit Phipps Conservatory, Carnegie Museum of Natural History and Museum of Art. A new dinosaur exhibit, which I unfortunately missed in 2006. It was still being constructed. Eat at Dirty O's while you're in Oakland. Check out the Museum at Point State Park - an incredible insight to a city and it's contribution to early America. If they've opened the viewing station at the US Steel building - something else good. I think you can get to the top of the Cathedral of Learning (Pittsburgh Uni - but it maybe closed because of cleaning).
Really depends what you enjoy. You can Kayak the 3 rivers - now that would be a totally different view from Mt Washington. http://pittsburgh.about.com/od/paddling/鈥?/a>
Honestly the past 2 years I've spent just under 2 months in Pittsburgh and haven't seen the half of it, yet! I'll be back though ... try keeping me away!

Pittsburgh?...I'm going there this weekend-any tips or advice on restaurants or shopping center?..?Go Bengals! It's not too late to NOT go there and have to be subject to people wearing Pittsburgh Jersey's everywhere. Who Dey!
Hello, I actually just moved back to NJ from Pittsburgh after almost 8 years of living there. Anyways, you could go to the south side, on carson street, nothing but bars and clubs and restaurants up and down the entire street. South Side Works has some shopping like H%26amp;M, BCBG, Puma, Forever 21 oh and a Cheesecake Factory restaurant. etc... Or "the strip" mostly dance clubs there. Downtown sucks, nothing really good there and very small. As far as malls the best ones are kinda far out from the city such as The Mall at Robinson and Pittsburgh Galleria Mall. Or the "The Waterfront" lots of shopping and restaurants, and nice movie theatre. Hope that helps. Have fun!
Get a sandwich from Primanti Brothers Restaurant!
