Im looking for a nice restaurant in the pittsburgh Pa area to take my wife for our anniversary. I would like somewhere where we can dress up nice and a place that has live music (Jazz, big band, classical ect....) or live entertainment of some sort. Any suggestions?Pittsburgh Pa??????????
Dowe's on Ninth downtown is probably the most renowned for top notch live entertainment:

For excellent food in a nice atmosphere (though no live music) i would recommend Lidia's in the Strip District on Smallman Street.
Maybe a quiet dinner at Lidia's and then go to Dowe's for cocktails and the music?
