I am married with a 20 month old baby girl.We live in Pittsburgh,PA. My husband worked at a Country Club about a year and a half ago but they let him go. Now he has a job cooking at a bar/restaurant Wednesday,Friday, and Sunday.I stay at home and take care of our baby girl. We are doing really bad financially. My husband is always on the computer looking for jobs.He sometimes gets an interview, but then they don't call him back after the interview.I was just wondering if any one who lives in Pittsburgh or Pennsylvania knows of any programs that help you pay your rent if you show proof of your income? We tried some churches which did not help us at all. We do have help with the phone bill, gas and we do get food stamps, and WIC for the baby.Does any one know of any programs at all that are worth trying? I appreciate your help.Thanks.Does any one from Pittsburgh or Pennsylvania know of ?
Dont you qulaify for welfare? Even though you have income it should be low enough to qualify. Also, try getting on HUD. Im not sure how long the wait list is over there, but after the wait you can live for free.
