My fianc茅e and I are going to be in Pittsburgh for one day and one night (he has a business meeting there) We have never been there before and want to take full advantage of our too-short trip.
We really want to see the best of Pittsburgh-- a cool 鈥榟idden鈥?area only locals know about, a hot trance/house nightclub, a really romantic/atmospheric restaurant...

Check out Station Square. It's got a nice little shopping mall and restaurants. Take the incline from there up to the top of mount washington to get the best view of the city. I have to imagine you can find a nice restaurant to eat at on mount washington, which might be a little more romantic than what you would find in Station Square. The strip district is also good for nightclubs. All of that should keep you busy for an evening. If you're looking for something to do during the day, you can drive around PNC park and Heinz Field...and check out the Buel Science Center.
