we'll have a group of about 12-15. we are in our early 30's.Best Pittsburgh bar/restaurant to watch the away Pittsburgh Penguins playoff games?
Stick with Primanti Brothers. It's a Pittsburgh restaurant, Pittsburgh feel to the place and they will put fries on every sandwich you order. They have big screen televisions throughout the place and they will probably even be running specials for the game.
**I have never understood the fries on the burger thing, could one of you pitssburg natives please explain that?
fridays and primanti's are good places. also buffalo wild wings or the north park club house both located in Robinson.
lubers... it really was just thrown on there to gain an identity. even tho they call it a steak sandwhich it really is a burger thrown onto 2 pieces of italian bread with tomatoes, cole slaw and french fries. you can also get many other choices for your meat but the toppings are all the same. at the time it was made nobody was throwing french fries and cole slaw on sandwhiches so it made primantis famous for thatBest Pittsburgh bar/restaurant to watch the away Pittsburgh Penguins playoff games?
Primanti Brothers!!!! Even the bar at Olive Garden! I personally like going to Texas Roadhouse but it isn;t that great for men, I think. But really Primanti's is great. If you are anywhere near Century Three Mall, I am!, there's Quaker Steak and Lube.
Dave and Buster's in the waterfront is nice not just for the game but also for playing video games later! It doesn't stay open too late, though.
Ummmm there's also Sweeney's but I don't know how close you are.
any Primani Bros should be good, they had the Penguins on like 8 different TVs last time i was there
Carson Street Saloon on Pittsburgh's Southside or Fatheads which has the best food in the City
well tgi fridays has all the games broadcasted and they do a lot of fun stuff for all ages. on away games ice burg comes in for the kids and they hand out all kinds of give aways. if you dont go there id say callahans but i dont know if any are still around.
edit, another good place would be any of the primanti brother restaurants, not the little ones in the strip or south side, but the bigger ones either in pleasant hills, or crafton/robinson.
Damons has the giant screens. KDKA likes to visit there, too, so you could get on the news.
Man, there's so many bars in Pittsburgh.
