I don't like fast food restaurants, morning jobs, and Very busy job. I'm 15 year old.. i know about the work permit, but wondering what jobs in Pittsburgh, Pa offer beside McDonald, wendys, those fast food restaurant... And most important of all, a good pay per hrs...trying to save up for expensive plane ticket...($1700)I'm 15, Where can i get a job at Pittsburgh PA?
I'm 16 and I had the same problem of finding a job. I'm not trying to burst your bubble or anything, but fast food places are almost the only places that hire 15 year olds now a days. I even had a hard time finding a job as 16 (but I live in Michigan and the economy is bad). I just got hired at Menards a couple of days ago...But you're going to have to bite the bullet if you want to actually get a "job" (not just mowing lawns, etc.) Fast food restaurants might be your only option because you are still pretty young to get a job. Some grocery stores hire young teens though. Here in Michigan, a grocery store called "Forest Hills Foods" hires kids as young as 14. But if you want to make 1700 bucks, you might have to work at a fast food restaurant or a morning and busy job. You can't get picky with the hours and where you want to work, especially if you want to make a lot of money. So just start filling out job aps. and hopefully you can get one. If you can't get a job at a store or restaurant though, try mowing lawns or babysitting b/c you can get a lot of money doing those.
Oh yeah, if you end up filling out applications anytime soon, don't put down hours that you would want to work on the appl. Just put ANY. Employers like that even though you might not.
I know I'm sounding kind of harsh, but it's hard to get a job. And remember, don't be picky or else you won't ever get a job! :) Good luck!I'm 15, Where can i get a job at Pittsburgh PA?
They are many pizza places Downtown which will pay under the table big time. Look to take a bus in to work, bus out of work.
Tons of people in Pgh who are on unemployment do this all the time and make tons (for being unemployed).
Learn to spin pie - you'll pick up a trade in the meantime.
