The hibachi chefs at my old restaurant used to take minced garlic, saute it with a little butter, then blend it with more butter and put it in the cooler to re-harden.

What cheese would go best with this burger?

A spicy one :)
I think havarti. Its creamy and melts nicely, but doesn't overpower the seasoning in your meat. What cheese would go best with this burger?

If you ask the restaurant they would probably sell it to you. That's probably your best bet since I know oriental restaurants tend to use ingredients delivered from their own country. My family had Loquats (a type of fruit) at a chinese restaurant and they sold us a big can cause you can only get them from China.Japanese Steak House Question?

Hey guys i am desperately trying to find a recipe similar to those of a Japanese steakhouse. I know around here there is a place called Kyoto Express and Sapporros steakhouse that both serve these ginger sauces. I have looked every where online and tryed a few of the recipes none of them are even close to what i am looking for. Authentic Japanese Restaurant?

Would a Japanese Steakhouse be considered to have REAL japanese food?Authentic Japanese Restaurant?
Yes, and they have Steakhouses in Japan too!

They also have Sobahouses that serve mostly soups, Sushihouses, of course and fast food.

There are many different authentic Japanese restaurant styles, more varied than here in America!

    .
I don't know about your particular restaurant, but the one's I have been to usually have a little real Japanese food. The very fact that it's a steak house means it is not centered on real Japanese food but on American tastes. However, some authentic food is offered and I have found it to be usually good.Authentic Japanese Restaurant?
yes. they have those all over japan. when i lived in okinawa i used to go to a jap steak house every sunday after church. it was so good too. i miss that place.
